Health & Wellbeing Tech

We turn clinical and psychological research into digital tools that actually help people. From mental wellness tracking to behavioural intervention platforms — built with researchers, not just for them.

What's included

Validated Assessments

Digital versions of standardized clinical assessments (PHQ-9, GAD-7, PSS, and custom scales) with automated scoring and trend visualization.

Behaviour Tracking

Daily mood logging, habit tracking, symptom monitoring, and goal setting with evidence-based reminder systems and engagement nudges.

Intervention Modules

Structured CBT, mindfulness, and psychoeducation modules delivered in-app — designed with clinical psychologists and validated against protocols.

Research Data Collection

Longitudinal data collection tools with export capabilities for SPSS, R, and CSV. Supports REB-approved study designs including randomized controlled trials.

Wearable Integration

Passive data collection from Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, and Garmin — sleep, HRV, activity levels — correlated with self-reported wellbeing data.

Clinician Dashboard

A secure portal for clinicians to monitor patient progress, review flagged responses, send messages, and adjust intervention intensity.

How we work

01

Research Partnership & Evidence Review

We start by reviewing the clinical or psychological evidence base behind your product. We work directly with researchers to understand what the science actually supports.

02

User & Patient Journey Mapping

We map the experience of real users — patients, clinicians, or caregivers — including accessibility needs, literacy levels, and emotional states at each touchpoint.

03

Privacy-First Architecture

Health data requires extra care. We design with PIPEDA and provincial health privacy legislation in mind, with clear consent flows, data minimization, and user-controlled deletion.

04

Clinical Feature Development

We build the core clinical features: assessments, progress tracking, intervention modules, reminders, and data collection tools — all validated against the research protocol.

05

Pilot & Feasibility Testing

We run structured pilot testing with real participants. Usability, clinical validity, and engagement metrics are collected and used to iterate before full launch.

06

Launch & Longitudinal Monitoring

We deploy and instrument the platform for longitudinal data collection, engagement analytics, and clinical outcome tracking — so research continues after launch.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work directly with academic researchers?

Yes — this is one of our core strengths. We have experience translating peer-reviewed research protocols into functional software, and we understand IRB/REB requirements for digital health tools used in research studies.

Is the app PIPEDA and PHIPA compliant?

We build with PIPEDA compliance as a baseline and can accommodate PHIPA requirements for Ontario or equivalent provincial health legislation. All health data is stored on Canadian servers and never leaves Canadian jurisdiction.

Can you build for both iOS and Android?

Yes — we use React Native for cross-platform mobile development, which allows us to maintain a single codebase while delivering native performance on both iOS and Android.

Can the platform integrate with wearables or health devices?

Yes — we support integrations with Apple HealthKit, Google Fit, Fitbit, Garmin, and other device APIs for passive data collection such as sleep, heart rate, and activity levels.

How do you handle sensitive mental health data?

Mental health data is classified as highly sensitive. We use strict access controls, anonymization where possible, and clear consent flows. Crisis detection flags are handled carefully and always escalate to human support rather than automated responses.

Can the platform support multiple languages?

Yes — we build with internationalization (i18n) from the start. We have experience building multilingual health apps for newcomer and immigrant populations.

Have research that needs to reach people?

We work with researchers, clinicians, and health organizations to turn evidence into tools that actually get used.
