For government and public-service organizations
Government Action & Form Assistant
An AI-assisted workflow that turns a person’s service need into a verified, step-by-step application, and prepares the forms for human review and submission.
Not a general chatbot, and not just search: it takes people from information to decision support to a completed, reviewed application.
Request a DemoThe problem
Government information is available, but completing an application is still hard. People must work out which programs apply, which documents are required for each person, and how to answer every field correctly. Incomplete applications cost time for applicants and for the teams who process them.
The Government Action & Form Assistant closes that gap by preparing complete, well-documented applications before they reach a service team.
From need to submission-ready package
Step 1
Understand the situation
The person describes their situation in plain language. The assistant identifies the programs and services that may be relevant.
Step 2
Check eligibility
A short, guided questionnaire runs through transparent, rule-based checks. Every outcome comes with a plain-language reason and an official source.
Step 3
Prepare the documents
A personalized checklist lists the documents required for each person in the application and flags anything that is missing.
Step 4
Complete the forms
The Form Copilot drafts answers from the information provided, links every field to its source, and highlights what still needs confirmation.
Step 5
Human review
Nothing moves forward without a person. A reviewer sees the flags, approves or returns the package, and adds notes.
Step 6
Submission-ready package
The result is a complete, reviewed package with clear next steps, ready to be submitted through the official channel.
Example use case: a newcomer family applying for child benefits
A family that recently arrived in Canada needs to apply for child and family benefits. Which forms and schedules apply depends on their residency and status, and each parent and child has different supporting documents.
The assistant works out which forms and schedules are needed, builds a document checklist for each person, flags what is missing, drafts the application with sources, and passes it to a reviewer for approval.
Trust & audit layer
Built so that every step can be explained, reviewed and traced.
- Every recommendation is linked to an official source
- Eligibility logic is rule-based, explainable and testable
- Human approval is required before any package is finalized
- A full audit log records requests, recommendations, sources, approvals and outcomes
- Accessible, multilingual interface by design
- Agent-ready architecture: the assistant prepares and recommends today, with permitted actions added only under explicit governance
Built for shared use across services
The same engine can support multiple services and organizations: each service adds its own programs, forms and rules, while the workflow, review process and audit trail stay consistent. It is designed to support responsible AI use in public service delivery.
The assistant provides information and prepares applications for review. It does not make official eligibility determinations, and it is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of Canada.
